The average concentration of 0.5 g / L bovine serum albumin (BSA) solution can reach more than 300 times. The protein recovery rate is as high as 97%. The membrane concentration process can be operated stably for a long time. The continuous operation time without cleaning is more than 100 hours. The energy consumption is 80% lower than that of conventional cross-flow membrane filtration, and the efficiency is 6-7 times that of conventional cross-flow membrane filtration. At the same time, the problem of protein inactivation caused by shearing can be avoided.
In view of the application potential of the technology, the technical testing expert group and project management unit suggested that the innovative technology be extended to the field of seawater desalination. The project undertaker cooperated with Guangdong Zhongkebao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to jointly develop reverse osmosis-drainage integrated technology and equipment for seawater desalination, and conducted a pilot test for nearly a year. The results show that using this technology for seawater desalination, the water consumption per ton of water is only 2.33 kWh, the concentration of concentrated water salt can reach 12%, and the water recovery rate can reach 80%, which provides a new technical approach for the economic utilization of sea water resources.
The expert group agreed that the project successfully completed the tasks stipulated in the project mission statement, and that all technical indicators met or even exceeded the requirements of the mission statement, and unanimously agreed that the project passed the acceptance.
