“The input to the algorithm consists of a solid surface mesh, a series of contact points that are expected to be a foothold, and a desired stance (ie center of gravity). We use two main degrees of freedom to modify the model. Our algorithm engraves and deforms the model. To improve its balance. We seek the minimum deviation of the model, so the algorithm trades off between 'removing part of the material from the inside' and 'deforming the surface'. We studied two modes of balance: (1) how to stand On a flat surface; (b) how to orient the suspended object. In both cases, the user-specified support base or contact point is the input value of the algorithm. Our method can optimize multiple models simultaneously, ie A variety of standing positions."
