However, in the application of green printing plate-making technology, there are still two major problems that must be overcome: paste and insufficient durability.
Zhou Haihua, Ph.D. of the Nano-Materials Direct Platemaking Project Team, said that if the contrast between the hydrophilic blank area and the oleophilic graphic area is not large enough, it will lead to paste plates. The control of the infiltration of the graphic area is realized, and the transition of the graphic area from super hydrophilic to super lipophilic is realized.
In addition, the printing plate must have sufficient abrasion resistance in order to meet the needs of tens of thousands of printing times. .
In 2005, the nano-material green plate-making technology that does not require photosensitive coating, no need to avoid light, no development, and no waste liquid discharge has applied for four invention patents.
But the application of a new technology requires system solutions from materials to equipment. Faced with challenges beyond their own profession, they will break down many problems from materials to equipment and software one by one, set up key research groups separately, and carry out extensive cooperation with many mechanical and printing superior units. In 2009, the first green plate-making prototype came out, and so far has launched three plate-making equipments for different needs.
