Single Reactor Binary PE Commercialized This Year

Prodigy BMC100 high density polyethylene is a two-phase product for thin films produced from a single Unipol PE reactor. Univation Technologies Inc. claims that the two-state catalytic technology is highly economical, and that there is an excellent balance between processability and physical properties. This material has good tear resistance, impact resistance and stiffness, low gel content, and good heat sealing properties. It will be commercialized this year.
