To this end, the author will proceed from years of experience in piloting, and sort out the three common faults and troubleshooting methods of the mechanical air circuit of the Heidelberg four-color machine.

Fault one

Clever troubleshooting of ink fountain motor

During a printing process, the button for adjusting the ink volume of the CP operating window of the Heidelberg four-color machine has an abnormal state. Specifically, after the machine staff adjusts the appropriate printing ink volume, the machine runs for a few minutes, and the ink key value of the color group automatically decreases To the minimum, after manually increasing, it becomes smaller after a few minutes, and so on. Reflected on the work piece, there is no ink from the vertical ink area of ​​the color group from the ink fountain, the ink key ink volume is turned off, and the ink color of the color group cannot be adjusted normally. Check the ink key motor of the color group on the ink fountain, and find that the shaft that controls the ink amount of the ink key cannot rotate. Therefore, the machine personnel determine that the ink fountain drive motor is damaged, and a new ink fountain drive motor needs to be replaced. To resolve this fault quickly and accurately, there are the following operating tips.

(1) Remove the ink fountain protective cover and damaged ink fountain drive motor first.

(2) Reduce the ink key value of the color group in the CP operation window to 0.

(3) Turn off the ink key adjustment axis of the ink fountain to the minimum, corresponding to the value of the ink key of the CP operating window adjusted to 0. This is because only when both are kept at the lowest value of 0, the amount of ink discharged after installing the new ink fountain drive motor and the adjustment value of the CP operating window can be consistent. If you do not make the two values ​​consistent when replacing, the CP operation window data will be confused with the actual ink volume, and the ink volume cannot be accurately set.

(4) After installing the ink fountain drive motor into a fixed position, make fine adjustments, add and subtract the ink key value in the CP operation window, and observe the effect.

Fault two

Solve the fault of solenoid valve and cylinder

After a quarterly maintenance of the printing press, after installing and commissioning the machine rollers, the test pressure was normal, but after starting the printing job, the printing plate of the second color group was found to be dirty on the side of the body. Shut down to eliminate the fault. Observe that the air vent of the solenoid valve that controls the color group is too serious to leak. Press the solenoid valve control button manually. It is found that the cylinder on the side of the body is not sensitive and slow, and the cylinder on the outside works normally. In response to this failure, it can be relatively easily determined that the water roller control solenoid valve is damaged, but the actual failure point is not on the solenoid valve, but on the cylinder. Here, the author will introduce our skills to judge the fault.

(1) One machine person manually closes the solenoid valve control button that controls the plate water roller cylinder. After pressing it, do not release it. The other machine person pushes the plate water roller cylinder on both sides. If it can't be pushed, it means that the cylinder is working normally, because there is air pressure in the cylinder. Normally damaged cylinders can be pushed by hand due to internal air churn. When solving the fault, we found that the cylinder on the side of the body can be pushed, but the cylinder on the outside cannot be pushed, indicating that the cause of the failure is a problem with the cylinder.

(2) Under normal circumstances, there is a problem with one side of the cylinder, most of the reason is that the side of the cylinder is damaged, resulting in one side of the water roller not in place. Once the solenoid valve fails, it will affect the working state of the cylinders on both sides, resulting in the cylinders on both sides not being pressed together, or the pressure is weak. Therefore, combining the skills of manually pushing the cylinder and reasoning analysis, it can be accurately judged that one side of the cylinder has failed.

(3) Then the machine operator jogs the side ink roller to maximize the space operation (after the ink roller is jogged to the other side, the space of the replacement cylinder is increased, which is conducive to operation). Press the control button of the solenoid valve of the water roller, and it is found that the fault disappears, the cylinder works normally, and the leakage of the solenoid valve disappears.

Failure three

Clever troubleshooting of waterway

During a printing process, the machine staff found that the live parts were dirty, so they increased the amount of water, but it had no effect, but the dirty area was larger. So the machine began to check the cause of the failure.

(1) The inspection found that the water level of the water tank was reduced. First, it was suspected that the water supply tank was not filled due to the blockage of the water supply pipe, so the water supply pipe was dredged. After the dredge was cleared, the water supply switch was turned on again, but the water supply was still unable.

(2) Check the water tank and find that the amount of return water decreases and gradually stop. Check the water tank filter screen and observe whether the pipeline filter core is dirty or clogged. The inspection result was normal and no abnormality was found.

(3) Check the water level detection head of the sink and the alcohol concentration detection device of the water tank. The indicators are normal, the signal transmission is reliable, and no problems have been found.

(4) After the above routine inspection has no results, we begin to suspect problems with the refrigeration system. Opening the water tank refrigeration mechanism, it was found that the outside of the cooling and cooling mechanism was frozen, and the temperature sensor was working poorly, which caused the cooling time to prolong. When the water flow passed the cooling plate, it was gradually frozen into ice, forming ice blockage, resulting in a poor water channel and interrupted water supply in the sink , The water supply pump heats up, and the return water volume decreases.

(5) After replacing the new temperature sensor, the fault is eliminated. The waterway system returned to normal.
