What does the future look like? I do n’t know, but I am sure that the future is technology, art, and return to nature. The first flower born at the intersection of the three has already bloomed. According to Antarctic bears, the StillAliveLight design studio focuses on creative lighting design, integrating aesthetics and energy regeneration concepts. Its founder CoryZwerlein upholds this idea, using the Raise3D printer to create a "solar flower".

Solar Flower-SolarFlower is a renewable energy lamp that converts natural light energy into LED light energy through solar panels. The black part of the top of the solar flower is the solar panel, and the white part is the 3D printed petals.
The flower of solar energy absorbs solar energy and stores it in the battery during the day, and automatically converts the energy storage of the battery into light energy at night.
StillAliveLights has been exploring solutions with 3DBrooklyn, CasesbySource and Raise3D since 2016.
Above the petals is the stamen composed of innovative solar panels; below the petals is the LED light source. The petals are made of transparent PLA material and the thickness of the blow, which makes it have a certain light transmittance, making the dazzling LED light soft.
Because the petal structure is the key to the overall design, the Cory team decided to use the Raise3DN series printer to print the petals. Only the 3D printing process can restore the natural organic geometric structure of the petals with very little cost and time. The petal itself is light and thin, and the moving parts of the printer that you decide to use must be stable and accurate, otherwise the model will be easily scratched by the nozzle during the printing process.
