A short, white pulsation tube connects to a pulsator, which controls the movement of this chamber, allowing it to expand and contract in a rhythmic manner.
During the milking phase, the vacuum system creates pressure within the wall chamber. This equalizes the pressure between the inner cup and the chamber, causing the inner cup to open, which allows the teat to be drawn into the cup, initiating milk flow.
In the resting phase, the pulsator changes the pressure inside the wall chamber, creating a difference between the inner cup and the chamber. This causes the inner cup to close, stopping the milk flow and allowing the cow to rest.
Fishbone milking machines are specifically designed for double-line milking, where cows stand in a fishbone pattern. All milking equipment, including the milking units, is mounted on both sides of the working tunnel. These systems are ideal for medium and large dairy farms and milking stations. Depending on the type of pulsator used, they can be classified as either pneumatic or electric. If the equipment is installed above the center of the tunnel, it is referred to as a mid-mounted milking system.
Using a fishbone milking machine that aligns with the physiological needs of the cow ensures a clean and comfortable milking environment. Additionally, the milk is transported through a closed pipeline directly to a refrigerated storage tank, reducing the risk of contamination from external sources.
