Oven laboratory manufacturers guide you through the calibration process of pipettes. Begin by using a 50 mL stoppered conical flask that has been dried externally. Place the flask on a balance with three decimal places. Using the pipette to be calibrated, transfer pure water into the flask. Weigh the flask along with the water and then subtract the weight of the empty flask to determine the mass of the water dispensed. At the same time, measure the temperature of the water, as shown in Table II. Based on this data, calculate the volume of the pipette at 20°C. Repeat the procedure once, and ensure that the difference between the two results is no more than 0.02 mL. For relative calibration between a volumetric flask and a pipette, first wash and dry a 250 mL volumetric flask. Then, use a 25 mL pipette to transfer pure water into the flask ten times. If the bottom of the water's meniscus does not align with the mark on the volumetric flask, adjust the marking line so that it becomes tangent to the meniscus. This ensures accurate volume measurement. Once calibrated, the pipette and volumetric flask can be used together for precise measurements. HUMGINE offers a wide range of laboratory equipment, including high and low temperature damp heat test chambers, constant temperature and humidity chambers, nitrogen-filled vacuum ovens, high-temperature vacuum drying ovens, low-temperature testing boxes, vacuum degassing boxes, AB glue degassing machines, and drying cabinets.
