Founded in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse, Masquespacio is an award-winning creative agency that blends interior design with marketing. Their unique approach results in innovative branding and interior concepts tailored to each client. The Spanish design duo has gained international recognition through their fresh and original ideas.
Ana Milena Hernández, an interior designer, and Christophe Penasse, a marketer, came together to create a multidisciplinary agency where branding, product design, art direction, and space design all merge seamlessly. Ana is the creative director at Masquespacio, passionate about every detail of her work, always striving to deliver the best solutions for clients while setting their brands apart with fresh and innovative concepts.
Christophe Penasse, co-founder and marketing director of Masquespacio, brings a strong background in marketing and brand development. He focuses on creating meaningful identities for his clients, always looking for ways to elevate their presence in the market. In addition to his role at Masquespacio, he also serves as chief editor for Blog del Diseño, a design-focused media platform launched by the agency.
Since its launch in 2010, Masquespacio has made a significant impact in the design world. They have earned recognition from top design magazines and awards such as “Massimo Dutti New Values†by Architectural Digest Spain, “Wave of the Future†by Hospitality Design USA, and “Young Talented Awards†by Elle Decor.
When it comes to collaborations, Masquespacio always delivers something special. For this project, they partnered with Essential Home, a brand known for its mid-century inspired designs. According to the team, Essential Home stands out for its emotional aesthetic and high-quality craftsmanship, moving away from the typical neutral styles seen in Scandinavian design.
“We were drawn to Essential Home years ago because of their unique aesthetic and emotionally rich furniture. When they reached out, we were excited to create something special. It was important for us to connect with the brand, and Essential Home was the perfect match. We developed a wide range of products, from chairs and tables to barstools and lighting, divided into two main collections with distinct aesthetics.â€
The result of this collaboration is the "Hollywood Glamour" collection—a mid-century modern line inspired by classic movie styles. From romantic love stories to fun burlesque settings, the collection brings the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood into today’s interiors. It's designed to be adaptable for both residential and commercial spaces.
